Stellar Blade is one of the hotly anticipated games of 2024. It’s an action-adventure game developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Originally titled Project Eve, this game became quickly popular after its gameplay trailer dropped at PlayStation’s State of Play last month. It’s a PlayStation-exclusive game, though, and if you’re wondering if it’s making its way to other platform, then the short answer is no.
Stellar Blade is not coming to PC or Xbox Series X/S, at least not any time soon. This is a PlayStation exclusive title, which is only releasing on the PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024. It’s true that a lot of PlayStation-exclusive titles are making its way to PC, but it’s hard to tell if Stellar Blade will ever make its way to other platforms like PC and Xbox. The folks over at Shift Up or Sony Interactive Entertainment appears to have no plans to bring the game other platforms.
Stellar Blade PC: It’s just a PS5 exclusive for now
Not even coming to the PS4
Stellar Blade is currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, meaning it won’t even be available on the PS4. In an interview with the Japanese publication Famitsu, the game’s director Kim Hyung-tae noted that they chose the PS5 platform to deliver an optimal gaming experience.
“I felt that I wanted to release a high-quality game on a single platform. And then, when it came time to decide on the platform, I determined that PlayStation 5 would offer the most optimal gaming experience.”

The developers have also noted that the game will “take full advantage” of the DualSense controllers’ haptic feedback and console’s hardware prowess. I am glad the devs decided to skip the previous-gen PS4 to avoid delivering a sub-par experience. It remains to be seen whether or not it will ever come to the PC and Xbox Series X|S in the future. For now, just keep in mind that the game launches on April 26, 2024.
