Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is out now on PC, and you can download it from various places like Steam, Epic Games, and more. The original, unedited version of the countdown article follows.
Ghost of Tsushima is next in line of PlayStation exclusives that are slowly making their way to PC. This one’s pretty big for a few reasons, and I’m pumped for its arrival on my favorite platform. If you are just as excited as I’m for this game and are wondering when it’ll arrive, then I’ve got just the thing for you.
Ghost of Tsushima PC release countdown
Ghost of Tsushima will be available via both Steam and the Epic Game Store starting May 16. You can keep an eye on the timer above, which is counting down to the big day. The game should go live at 12AM on May 16 in your region.
Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port is a crucial release
Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port, as I previously mention, is pretty big for a few main reasons. First off, it’s the Director’s cut of the game that’s launching on PC now, meaning this version includes both the main campaign as well as the Iki Island expansion. Notably, you’ll also get the multiplayer mode in the game called Legends.
But what makes it really special is the fact that this is the first PlayStation title on PC to use a new PlayStation overlay. It’ll include your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and your PlayStation Profile. It’ll be available on Windows PCs, and will be accessible from the in-game menu. Mouse and keyboard players can also access this by pressing “Shift + F1” on their keyboard.
This means that you’ll also be able to earn PlayStation Trophies just like on PlayStation consoles. And that’s addition to the Achievements on Steam and the Epic Game Store. This, quite frankly, seems like an unusual move from Sony, but I’m for this PlayStation-PC synergy, and I can’t wait to see where this goes.
Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port releases on May 16, and it’ll support Nvidia’s DLSS 3 and AMD’s FSR 3 upscaling technologies with frame generation at launch.
