The folks over at SHIFT UP Corporation are staying true to their promise of delivering Stellar Blade post-launch content. That’s right, the developer has pushed a new update to the game, adding a bunch of new content, including a new game mode, a few new Nano Suits for Eve, and some quality of life (QoL) improvements.
The new update, which is now live for Stellar Blade enjoyers across the globe on the PlayStation 5 brings a new mode called “Boss Challenge.” This mode essentially you a chance to defeat the game’s bosses again. It’ll let you cut to the chase and replay against defeated bosses directly, meaning it’s perfect for those who want to, say, practise the game to get better at it, or even try to get another crack at their favorite boss fights.

Those who have completed the game will unlock a new hard difficulty for the Boss Challenge mode. Also, players can load up and use their own gear or choose between several preset collections for these challenges, which is great. The game will analyze your performance and display your metrics after each boss fight to highlight things like battle time and the number of perfect parries, among other things.
Players who complete all Boss Challenges in ‘Normal’ or higher difficulty will unlock a new outfit for Eve called Neurolink Suit. It’s a chic outfit that covers Eve in a white and red body-hugging suit. It’s a nice Stellar Blade outfit to add to your existing collection, and let’s hope it doesn’t get censored like many others.
Neurolink isn’t the only suit that’s being added to the game, though, as the new update also brings several other Nano Suits, including the Kunoichi outfit in both ‘Black’ and ‘White’ variants. Notably, the update also brings a few quality of life improvements that are highlighted in the tweet that’s embedded above.
