Aniplex currently has the whole anime community on the edge of their seats. Starting with the letter ‘O’ this Monday, the company started teasing its new anime project. It has today been followed by an ‘M’ that continues the teaser streak.
The O was painted in black on a teal background, whereas the M appears on a bright red background in the teaser. These teasers have sent fans scurrying to search for the anime that begins with the letters OM…Is it Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint? One Punch Man S3? Well, those might be your guesses too, like some fans, but alas, that’s not the case.
As per Comic Natalie, Aniplex has revealed that Project O and Project M are two different anime works. The teasers do not spell out the name of a single anime. So, Aniplex is using single alphabets to tease two different anime TV series or movies, and it has me hyped. I mean, Aniplex is popular as the production company behind big-time titles like Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer, and Fullmetal Alchemist, among others.
Where can you check out these teasers? Aniplex did not share any teasers on its social media. Instead, the company has set up dedicated pages for the ‘O’ letter and ‘M’ letter teaser, respectively.
Both anime projects are currently shrouded in mystery with an official reveal planned for Thursday, January 18, 2024. Will we get another single letter teaser tomorrow? Only time will tell.
