Blue Lock Season 2 teaser trailer is here
The official X account for Blue Lock recently shared a new teaser video and visual for the much-awaited second season. The key visual shows Isagi and Rin, the two egotists who will be at the center of the upcoming U-20 arc, in the center. Surrounding them are major supporting characters, including Nagi, Shidou, Reo, Bachira, and others.
The announcement today also introduces fans to two new characters joining the cast of Blue Lock. Joining the egotistical race are Eiji Mikami as Yo Hiori and Kakeru Hatano as Nijiro Nanase, who can be spotted in the visual on the right side.
The new voice actors join the existing cast members, including the likes of Isagi Yoichi (Kazuki Ura), Shido Ryusei (Yuichi Nakamura), Meguru Bachira (Tasuku Kaito), Hyoma Chigiri (Soma Saito), Rensuke Kunigami (Yuki Ono), and others.
The upcoming second season will begin adapting the manga from Chapter 94, picking up from where the first season ended. We are yet to learn the answers to many questions. So, what is Kunigami’s fate? What players will be picked for the Japan U-20 football team? We are also eager to see Shidou in action in the next season.
Produced by 8bit Studios, the anime series is based on the manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since August 2018 with 28 volumes released to date.
