Sony’s PlayStation Blog has officially confirmed the arrival of Ghost of Tsushima on PC. The PC version of the game has been in development at Nixxes in collaboration with original creator Sucker Punch Productions, and it comes out on May 16, 2024. You’ll be able to download and play it on your PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Ghost of Tsushima, in case you are wondering, originally released for PS4 in July 2020. It then made it’s way to the PlayStation 5 in August 2021 as a Director’s Cut edition featuring the Iki Island story expansion. The version that arrives on PC later this year includes the base game, the Iki Island expansion, and Legends mode.

Sony’s announcement post has also confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC will also support Nvidia’s DLSS 3 and AMD’s FSR 3 upscaling technologies with frame generation. That’s great news for those using one of the modern Nvidia and AMD GPUs. Notably, the game on PC will also have support for ultrawide monitor. In fact, it will be fully optimized for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions and even 48:9 resolutions for triple monitor setups.
The PlayStation Blog post also mentions extensive controller support, meaning you can use Steam Input to remap and customize the peripheral of your choice to your preference. Those with Sony’s DualSense controllers will also be to immerse themselves in the game with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is already up for pre-purchase on Steam and Epic Games Store. Those who pre-purchase the game early will unlock the following in game when it unlocks on May 16:

- Broken Armor dyes from Baku’s shop
