The hype around Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer 2 is showing no signs of slowing down and we just got more fuel for the fire. American singer Anita Ward’s Spotify banner now shows a logo of GTA 6, leading fans believe that one of her popular singles will be featured in the game’s radio or its next trailer.
I’d say the latter is more likely to happen because, well, it would make more sense to create hype around the next thing on the horizon rather the actual game which could be years away, right? Well, your guess is as good as mine when it comes to these leaks, but there is a good chance that her single could end up featuring in both trailer as well as the game.
The fans were also quick to speculate that her 70s pop hit “Ring My Bell” song will likely be a part of the game. Not only is that her most popular song, but it also has a vibe that goes perfectly well with Vice City. In fact, some people have already started linking her song and the trailer, with someone going as far as creating a shortened version to be used in GTA 6 trailer 2.
It goes without saying that all this is purely speculation, and there’s no official confirmation on any of this. There is a good chance that Anita Ward — or her team — changing her Spotify banner to reflect GTA 6 logo means absolutely nothing. Perhaps she’s just a fan of the franchise and want to show her excitement? Or maybe someone got a hold of her account and changed it to create a ruckus online. Either way, it works well in favor of Rockstar Games to build more hype.
We still don’t have a release date for GTA 6, by the way, and the only thing we know for now is that it’s coming some time in 2025. I am hoping for no delays, but I also hope that Take-Two is giving the Rockstar devs enough time to polish the game properly instead of rushing to get it out.
Also, Anita Ward isn’t the only singer that seems to have an involvement with GTA 6, as T-Pain also confirmed that he has worked with Rockstar Games for GTA 6 in some capacity.
