The first season of Oshi no Ko adapted 40 manga chapters in 11 episodes. This includes the lengthy first episode that adapted the prologue, i.e. the childhood of Aqua and Ruby Hoshino. This dark and sensational debut episode made Oshi no Ko the talk of the town when it aired. The remaining 10 episodes adapted three arcs — Show Business, Dating Reality Show, and The First Concert.
The number of episodes in Oshi no Ko Season 2 is not confirmed yet. However, the key visuals and teasers reveal that it will heavily focus on the 2.5D Stage Play arc, which is essentially a show within the show.
This manga arc spans three volumes and 26 chapters, running from chapters 41 to 66. It’s currently if the upcoming season will also adapt the Private arc, running 14 chapters, where Aqua will learn something important about his father, the one he wishes to exact revenge on.
That’s everything we know about Oshi no Ko Season 2 so far. Oshi no Ko is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka (popular for Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (popular for Scum’s Wish).
