Sony is not playing games this time around, and a Stellar Blade demo is finally coming out next week. This PlayStation 5 exclusive is releasing late April, but a demo for Stellar Blade accidentally leaked in March, giving us a good look at Eve’s exotic latex suit.
Today, developer Shift Up revealed that the Stellar Blade free demo will go live on March 29, 2024, at 7:00 AM PDT or 2:00 PM GMT on PS5. The best part of the demo is that the save data (stored on your PS5) will carry over to the full release when it releases on April 26, 2024. The game will start from the last checkpoint, as per the official PS blog.
How much of Stellar Blade can you play during the demo?
The developer announced that you will be able to play “from the very beginning of the game when Eve, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad is sent to Earth on a mission to reclaim the planet from the Naytiba, up to the first boss fight.”

The demo release date announcement is paired with a teaser that shows Eve taking on the first boss. Though I didn’t get to see Eve’s skin suit, which will level up the difficulty and challenge players, there’s apparently a little surprise for players who finish the first boss fight. Could it be the skin suit reward? We will find out on March 29.
To wrap up, the PS blog also reveals that the demo as well as the full game will have the following language options — Korean, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin Spanish in voiceovers. There are around 20 text language options too.
Stellar Blade is an upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, and it will release on April 26, 2024.
